Each new patient gets this computerized scan to help explain where your pain or issue lies.
The doctor will perform an electrical thermography scan on each new patient that comes into the office. This computerized scan is a technical and effective way of providing in greater detail to both the patient and the doctor where the source of pain is originating.
Surface electromyography (sEMG) is also referred to as surface scanning EMG, is a non-invasive, computer-based technique that records the electrical impulses using electrodies placed on the surface of the skin.
How SEMG Scans Work…
When the nerve of the of spine become irritated due to the misalignments that are pressing on those nerves, those nerves give off an amount of heat. When this thermography scan is rolled up the patient’s back, it will then measure the amount of heat given off by those nerves.
The sensors are then placed on specific muscle points and the scan will then determined the muscle tension that is also taking place on that patient.
